Client wanted to continue its “pay-for-performance” philosophy and culture of recognition in the context of a noncash
program that operated continuously. Budget management tools were also needed to properly track spending
and measure ROI for various activities.
Solutions
An incentive and recognition program
was implemented that utilized a flexible
award platform combined with an
online budget management application
for department managers. Points were
awarded based on specific objective
achievement and then deposited in
online bank accounts. Points could be
redeemed through an online catalog
for merchandise, individual travel or a
prepaid Visa® card.
Results

Sales volume increased 9% during the first 12 months of implementation,
20% higher than anticipated.
