Situation Overview
Client wanted to see an increase in the sale of television entertainment packages and services among its Spanish
language subscribers. A consumer referral program would increase sales among this specialized target audience.
Solutions
An online referral program was developed
to reward consumers for sold referrals
to friends and family. Referrals were
sent to friends and family in the form
of a personalized e-card. When friends
or family activated new accounts as a
result of the solicitation, 500 points were
awarded in an account for both the
consumer and the new subscriber. Points
were redeemed in an online
catalog for top-quality, name-brand
merchandise including electronics, jewelry,
household items, gift cards and more. A customized website featured program enrollment,
participant bank account, award catalog/ordering and management reporting functions.
